Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Touchline platform at touchlinecoaching.com and related services (the “Service”), provided by Castellum LLC (“Castellum LLC,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a club or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

1. The Service

Touchline is a club-management and player-development platform that provides team and roster management, player assessments and development plans, training-session planning, match-video analysis, and related analytics. Features vary by subscription plan.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • The Service is intended for use by clubs, coaches, and their authorized staff, and by players (or their guardians) invited by a club. It is not directed to children for self-registration.
  • You are responsible for all users you invite to your club and for their compliance with these Terms.

3. Your responsibilities for player data

You control the data you enter about your club, teams, and players. You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents — including verifiable parental or guardian consent where required by law — before entering any information about a minor, and that you will use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, including children’s-privacy laws. Touchline is designed to minimize personal data (players are identified by moniker by default); you agree not to enter more personal data than your club needs. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and trials

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
  • Free trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled beforehand.
  • You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
  • We may change plan pricing or features on reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: uploading content you don’t have the right to use; attempting to breach security or access other clubs’ data; reverse-engineering the Service; or using it to store unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. AI-generated content

Some features use artificial intelligence to generate development plans, training sessions, scouting summaries, and video analysis. AI output is assistive and may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is not professional coaching, medical, or safety advice. A qualified coach should review all AI-generated content before acting on it. You are responsible for decisions you make using the Service.

7. No medical or health advice

Wellness check-ins, training-load figures, and related features are for general planning only and are not medical advice. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any injury or condition. Always use qualified medical judgment for player health and return-to-play decisions.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software and design, is owned by Castellum LLC and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content and data you upload; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CASTELLUM LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your club at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. On termination, your data may be deleted after a reasonable period as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Castellum LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. [Confirm governing state and any dispute-resolution / arbitration terms with counsel.]
